Trichoderma harzianum can be used to prevent plant diseases caused by pathogens such as Pythium, Rhizoctonia solani, Fusarium, Botrytis cinerea, Rhizopus nigricans and Cladosporium. Its main active ingredient is the Trichoderma harzianum T-22 strain. Trichoderma is a kind of microorganism widely existing in nature. Trichoderma harzianum is the earliest and most widely used strain of Trichoderma. The T-22 strain is an artificially modified strain, which is an artificial hybrid strain obtained by cell fusion technology using T95 and T12 strains as parents. The T95 strain has strong ability to entwine and colonize plant roots, while the T12 strain has strong disease control ability. By combining the advantages of both through cell fusion technology, the T22 strain with excellent root entwining, colonization and disease control capabilities was obtained. At the same time, it inherited the adaptability of its parents to different soil types and can colonize and reproduce well in sandy loam and clayey soil, making the application of T22 more adaptable.

Target diseases: Damping-off, root rot, and other fungal root diseases, as well as gray mold and other leaf diseases.

Mechanism of action

Competitive effect: Trichoderma harzianum T-22 can grow rapidly in the rhizosphere and phyllosphere of plants, occupying the sites on the surface of the plant body and forming a protective shield, just like putting boots on the plants. This prevents pathogenic fungi from coming into contact with the roots and leaves of the plants, thereby protecting the roots and leaves from infection by the aforementioned pathogenic fungi and ensuring the healthy growth of the plants.

Application scope

Applicable crops: Tomato, flowers; Target pests: Root rot, wilt.

Dosage and application method: 1-2 kilograms of 300 million CFU/g granules per mu, applied in the planting hole at the time of planting.

Application method: Soil treatment around the root system.

Technical requirements for use

o It needs to be in direct contact with the root system, with a soil covering depth of 5-10 cm;

o pH range: 5.5-7.5.
