It is a microbial-derived jasmonic acid-like plant signal molecule regulator and a highly active functional analog of jasmonic acid (JA).

Its core function is to enhance crop stress resistance, helping crops resist adversity stresses such as low temperature, high temperature, drought, and salinity, thereby reducing yield loss.

It promotes grain filling, increases thousand-kernel weight, reduces blighted grains, and effectively increases yield.

Additionally, studies have found that it helps control the accumulation of heavy metal mercury in rice.
